How do I airdrop songs from iTunes

My wife downloaded a couple of songs onto my iPad and she would like them on her phone. Can I use drop to transfer them or is this even possible??

If you didn't set up music bought on one device to auto-download to others on the same AppleID you just open the iTunes Store on the other device and download the purchased item...no AirDrop required.

Or, make sure the items are in your iTunes library an sync both devices to iTunes.
