Why do the events on my calendar periodically disappear on my 6 plus? Is this the bug everyone is talking about and it's not fixed yet? I'm on iOS 8.2.

What are you using? Gmail, iCloud? I haven't had any issues like that.

Events do go away after a time once the date has past. Birthdays and holidays remain.

I'm talking upcoming events and I'm using iCloud. Thinking about switching to gmail because of this but I like the drive time alerts in the stock app.

This has happened to me, but some kind people on this form helped me. Go to settings>mail, contacts, calendar> scroll down to calendar >sync> check all events. That should do it.
