Why does my Whatsapp do some kind of code on its own?

Whatsapp does some kind of morse on its own

I get these without typing:
,--,, .--,-,, ,, ,, , , .--,-. ,--, ,. ,,- ,--,. - .--,

Is it some code gone wrong? A bug?

Lots of these... Sort of morse code thing. Any one else with this problem?
I can't seem to fix it. I just try to type and every now and then it does this.

never had this issue- use it everyday- try deleting the app and reinstalling
