When I set my phone to do not disturb why does it still vibrate when I receive a text message?

I set the filter to allow calls from favorites but edited my favorites to just one person. I am still getting texts from others and phone vibrates when they arrive.

Do you have the mode set to "Always" or "Only while iPhone is locked"?
Is the phone locked or unlocked when you are getting the vibrations?

This. If you don't, here's how.

Settings>Do Not Disturb>Then under "Silence:" set it to Always

This is also where you will find all the other Do Not Disturb settings. Hope this helps.
