It does not charge only only 8%

The lock sign means orientation lock. Swipe control center up and turn it off. Not sure why your phone won't charge. Are you using an OEM cable?

Lock symbol has nothing to do with charging. Sounds like your indicator is out of sync

Let your device discharge until it powers down on its own then wait a minute and then plug in your charger cable and let it fully charge uninterrupted
