How do I get my HD to show up in Finder?

how do I get my HD to show up in finder

I started Duplicate Detective and moved my HD icon from finder in to the box. Nothing happened and the HD icon does not show up in finder.

Initiate the Finder preferences and then select the items you want to show in Finder. I'm just going from memory and am not on my MacBook to give you detailed instructions. Sorry.
