Would I know? No. Would I buy one now if I wanted to? Yes. Would I buy an updated one if/when it comes out? Yes.

There have been rumors for quite awhile as it is getting fairly long in the tooth. We have no idea if they're actually planning to release something or not. If you're a heavy Apple user, having the iTunes access and the Air Play features are great so it's going to be worth the pick up, even if you need to look into a trade-in down the road.

Otherwise try Google Chromecast. It is pretty powerful for a $35 device.
