Why is my current period in my cellular data usage reading more than it should

Any time I buy a 2 gig data bundle and I follow my current period in my data usage, my browsing stops any time it reads 2 gig. Is it that whatever am seeing on the current usage is automatically doubled?????.

What? Rephrase your question. I don't understand what your saying. Your data usage that shows in Settings should not be much off what your carrier shows. It can differ a little. What does it show and how do you know you have not used that much?
