How do you trim a voice memo?

I've got a voice memo with a lot of dead air on the end that I'd like to trim off. When I'm in "Edit" and roll it to the point where I'd like it to end, and touch the trim button, I'm afraid to proceed because I'm not sure whether to touch "Delete" or "Trim".

How about creating a test voice memo and experiment with the trim option to see if it does what you're expecting it to do. If so, then use it on your original voice memo.
