Top cases that add protection but with slim profile?

I went into the store yesterday looking to upgrade my girlfriend's ancient galaxy S3. She wanted the iphone 6 in gold, they had one left. To make a long story short I was able to upgrade my iphone 5 to the 6 as well(with the new price changes going up it made since) They didn't have any good selection of cases in stock. Any ideas? I got the 64gb in space grey.

I have the Apple leather case for my 6 Plus & I absolutely love it. Unfortunately, I've dropped my phone a million times, I even kicked it a few times trying to pick it up, and the case is a lifesaver. Doesn't add much bulk and it's pretty darn protective. Not a scrape or anything on my phone. If you're looking for more protection, you may want to try Speck. They have some great cases.

I agree in the Apple leather. I have the dark brown, the dark blue and the red.

Yea, I got a spigen slim armor; best they had in my taste. its a real protective case but its heavy! I will definitely look into the leather case...thanks
