My home button sometimes doesn't respond
Why is this happening ??

Could be hardware, or software... If it's a phone under warranty or covered by AppleCare, seek service from Apple... If not under warranty, an Apple Store Genius Bar, Apple authorized service center, or other cellular repair provider can look it over and let you know what your options are... Or, you can try restoring the iOS... Then proceed with the above if restoring the iOS doesn't solve anything.
