In Aperture you can add user-defined KEYWORDS to your photos. And you can use these keywords when you create smart albums. You can add as many keywords to a photo as you like.
In all the many articles about the upcoming Photo applications for Mac OS X and IOS nobody seems to mention anything about the future fate of keywords.
My photo collection is not about faces or very specific events on very specific geographic locations. So most of the automatic features in the photo apps are to no help for me. Only keywords can do the trick.
