Is there a way to make my iPhone ring more times before going to voicemail?

iMore Question

I have an iPhone 6. My problem is that the phone does not ring. I know that I don't have the silencer/mute switch on. All the settings say that the ring is set at maximum volume. But the phone does not ring and phone calls go directly to voice mail. Is there anything I can do about that? A friend told me yesterday that when he called, the phone rang only once on his end and then he got the voice mail. Is there a way I can tell it to ring at least 3 or 4 (or more) times before going to voice mail? Thanks in advance for whatever you might be able to tell me. Gary

That's an issue you're going to have to deal with your carrier to troubleshoot and solve...

Sounds like you don't have enough signal to receive a phone call. If you do have strong signal then I agree that you should talk to your carrier.
