Restoring HDD contents from Time Capsule to new SSD

I want to replace the existing HDD on my MacBook Pro with a Crucial 512GB SSD.

A 2TB Time Capsule (3rd Generation) backs up the contents of both a 1TB iMac (mid 2010) and a 500GB MBP (mid 2010) via WiFi. Both Macs are under half full.

Could you give some step-by-step guidelines to achieve this please? One question that comes to mind is how does Time Capsule know which is the MBP contents that need to be restored to the new SSD?

Welcome to iMore!

The link posted above will give you the guidelines that you need.
Once your Time Capsule is connected you can go to Finder and view the folder contents. Your backups are named according to the device that its backed up from.
