How do I respond to trust this computer screen if the screen is damaged?

Unable to respond to "trust this computer" screen because of damaged screen

Due to damage on my iphone 5, the screen has become unusable. I want to back up data from the the phone, but everytime I try to connect to to iTunes I'm unable to get past the step where it asks me to respond on the phone when to the "trust this computer" question. Because of this the connection with iTunes fails.

Any help in getting past the click "trust this computer" would be appreciated. Unfortunately only some of the data is backed up on icloud.

You may well want to visit a Genius Bar, if you can; Apple's technicians have a few tools that can help where fingers on a broken screen might fail.
