Why isn't my iPad charging?

Problems with charging

New i-pad shows not charging at the top. Tried hard reboot and another cable. Battery got to almost 0 and it started charging,but did not show charging on top. It charged to 60% but always said not charging. Is there something in the settings for this?

Are you using the Apple supplied charger? If not...do that

Often "not charging" message is related to a not compatible cable. Get a genuine cable and it will solve it all that trouble with charging the battery.
