How to archive a definite chat?

Now and then I have some chats which I want to archive them,for future review.
Thus;I copy that chat and trying to paste it in the archive but nothing is pasted.
I have so many groups and some particular chats I want to keep them,how I don't really know.
I wish you to help me.
