Why can't I all of a sudden delete a sketch app I down tonight

The icon wiggle, the x is there but if you try a delete part of your screen goes in and out, nothing deletes, pages do not scroll, you cannot return the screen to normal, you have to do a reset. I've done this six times now. Even downloaded 8.1.3 a bit ago thinking it would fix it to no avail. Everything works until I try to delete an app. Really pissed off. Please answer as if I know a lot about iOS and iPads because I did until the last 2 hours

Rey gooking up to iTunes and delete from your iTunes library, and when it asks to download apps from the device that aren't in your library, say no... then use iTunes to delete the app on the device.
