How do I make the Messages swish sound go away?

Every time I send a text, as it sends a swish sound is made.

At first I thought going to settings -> sounds -> sent mail and changing the tone to none would resolve the issue, but the sound still persists. I restarted the iphone as well.

Flip the mute switch on OR jailbreak and find a tweak. Otherwise, you have to live with it.

I turn off the "swoosh" sound off by changing the text alert to none. Then I enabled the individual text tone for my favorite contacts.
