How to delete a subscribed event from my iPhone Calendar?

I don't remember subscribing to an event that recurs frequently. When I tap on the event, and it comes up, there is no red "edit" in the upper right hand corner so that I can delete them all. Forever.

Do you share a calendar? Did someone else's add the event.

Could it be in your Reminders app?

And if it's truly a subscribed calendar, try going to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Subscribed Calendars. See if you can delete it from there.
