Accessing Apple Mail files from my iPad

I save Apple Mail files in folders on my MacBook Air and cannot get my iPad to see these folder files using iCloud Drive. All of my files are saved in folders in My Documents. The My Documents folder has been dragged into my iCloud Drive Folder and I can see all of my Numbers, Keynote and Pages files, but nothing else. Apple Mail, Adobe, Xcel, Word and PowerPoint files are invisible.

Am I attempting the impossible?p

Re: Accessing Apple Mail files from my iPad

I wouldn't say attempting the impossible... but maybe trying to get apps to do things they're not written to do... for a Mac Mail app file to work on an iPad, the iPad mail app would have to be written to be able to read the mac app file... presently, it's not. The iWork apps for Mac were rewritten to handle the iOS version of files created in the iOS versions of the app and vice-versa.
