Restore only the iOS Operating System

My iMac is playing up almost as if I have a 'virus' or something - I NEVER download software from the Internet and keep my machine as clean as possible from anything unrelated to my use. Since a program MacKeeper appeared (how I dont know), Safari is very very slow and I have stopped using it. I now want to restore to the day that I downloaded the OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 - what I dont want is to update the data files on my computer as I have obviously added a lot of data since downloading Yosemite.

Time machine can help you achieve that.
Backup your documents apps etc... in an external HDD using time machine, then reinstall your osx and then restore your backup from time machine.
