Why do videos automatically download when purchased in iTunes store on my iPad?

Why do videos automatically download when purchased in iTunes store on my iPad.

I have disabled automatic downloads for everything (Music, Apps, Books, and updates) within Settings/iTunes & App Store but when I buy a video at work, start to download it, and then head home with my iPad before it has finished downloading. It always starts to continue download when I get home, even though the iTunes store or video app is not open. How do I stop this behavior?

iTunes likes to finish what it starts... You started the download at work and I presume the device lost wifi connectivity... And when it had a connection again, it picked up where it left off.
