How can I set the app switcher not to display the recently used apps?

I found out how to remove recent and favorites contacts on switch apps but not the
apps recently used including the apps page showing to all around you looking on top of your shoulder at what you have done, typed, seen, page visited etc..
i don't want those apps pages to appear there, in previous ios only the apps icon appeared but on ios8 those apps are open on the first page. Not good for my privacy

Can I simply disable app switcher totaly ?

I'm not sure how you would use the app switcher without seeing the apps you have open. No, you can't disable app switcher.
