iPhone unable to import music- "Loading iTunes Match" for hours

trying to import music to my iPhone 5s OS 8.1.2 after I ripped all my CDs (I'm old) and signed up for iTunes match now its stuck on "Loading iTunes Match..."

Your music is already in iTunes do you won't lose it and I assume you've backed up your phone recently.....if it's hopelessly stuck reboot the device.
How much music are you importing? And how long has it been trying?
