How do I recover my Terminal password so I can empty the trash?

Try to empty Trash using Terminal...

I'm Using Mac OS X (Yosemite)...was trying to empty Trash but it took a long long time. I tried Terminal to empty trash but it didn't not work they kept asking for password but i didn't know!!!SOOOOO i was stuck with trash around 38,000 something around that. I tried many different ways that i could find on web but it didn't work for me!!!What should I do?

If you have/had over 38,000 items in Trash it could take a long time to empty. More time is required if you issued a Secure Empty Trash option. How much time is dependent upon the items in the Trash.
