Can I use one credit card for two seperate Apple accounts?

I guess what I,m trying to ask is can I have the same credit card info in my phone and a family members phone as well?
We have different last names and separate apple ID,s.
We are on a family phone plan.

I had this set up back when I was married. I don't think the last name mattered but we used the same credit card with two separate Apple IDs. That's how we kept our music separate.
