Trying to download a book. Thin blue circle usually gets thicker as it downloads, but nothing happening.This appears to have really got stuck. Any other ideas?

If it accepted your payment it should already be ready. Exit iTunes and come back to try it again. If that doesn't work reboot your device and try again.

You did check to see if you've got room for the book?
