How do i remove video clips from my iPad, from media library in iMovie

I imported GoPro video footage into my iPad from my iPhoto library on my mac.
I converted the GoPro footage to iPad's iMovie format (MP4) on my Mac using MPEG Streamclip.
I made a few movies and now my iPad is out of storage.
I would like to delete the video clips - but there is no Trash icon with which to do this.
