How can I see a text conversation I had in September?

I have one person's text thread that stops in early october but I want to see messages we text each other in Sept. How do I do that?

I don't know. If you can't see it in your text thread, it's probably deleted. Do you have a backup that contains the conversation you had in September that you can restore?

It probably is deleted. If you want to save your messages, go to Settings >Messages >Keep Messages


Then select keep time
