Iphone 5 mega zoom

The screen is so magnified that all you see is half of a single app icon. It has something to do with the zoom text function. I can occasionally get Siri to bring up zoom controls and zoom out. Problem is I have no idea what is causing the zoom in, in the first place. If I "reboot" the phone it starts up in mega zoom mode. If I use the swipe down shortcut I so e times get zoom controls and can close the magnification. What is causing it to mega zoom while in various apps. Is there a shortcut to turn it on.? To turn it off?

Sounds like you have turned on the zoom in the Accessibility function.
