How do I access the camera on my lock screen?

On lock screen there's a camera icon

How do I access it? I click on it nothing happens

First, it would help to know what device you're referring to. Second, telling us that "there's a cdnets" on your lock screen is not all that helpful. Is it a widget? An email or SMS message or what? Can you not unlock the screen and then access the "cdnets" thing you're referring to?

Slide it up towards the top of your screen to open the camera.
