My iPad 3 and iPhone 6 will not complete sync with iTunes. Whats wrong?

my iPad 3 and iPhone 6 will not complete sync with iTunes. Whats wrong?

When I try to sync in iTunes, the iPad3 never stops trying to download photos and the iPhone 6 gets an unable to complete the sync. and says "an internal device error occurred".

The iPhone.... Could be corrupt media file(s)... A bad app... If you can determine which file(s) they are, replace them and sync again. The iPad... Same thing, or it's just doing its thing... Restart the computer/iTunes and reboot the iPad, and phone too... Then re sync.
