How do I save my photos from being deleted from my album if I delete them from my daily file on my iPad?

Seleting photos saved to an album from daily oist

I had saved a number of photos from a Facebook page. When I put them into an album they simply copied rather than moved. Now, when I try to delete them from the daily file my iPad mini (IOS 8) tells me it will delete the pictures from the album as well. How do I fix this please. I want to keep the album for future ease of reference.
