Default My iPhone is on constant reboot

Ok so I got a new iPhone 4 a few days ago for Christmas from my parents (I know it's an old type iPhone) and it was working fine up until now. so I was getting music from iTunes from my computer (Windows) and my phone froze. So I clicked back up on iTunes. It backed up but the screen went black but it was the sort of black that you'd know it was on so I searched online on how to restart phone. I pressed and held for ten seconds but it just went to restore mode, and then back to reboot continuesly, any ideas?

Get it into DFU mode, connect to iTunes, reinstall the iOS, then restore back-up and sync to iTunes.
