On my iPad is says there are over 900 emails,but there are only 10, why?

on my ipad is says over 900 emails,but there are only 10. why?

In my email inbox is says 933. But when i open box,there is only 10. Does anyone know why??? Thank you

Try a hard reboot and then check again. What is it saying on your Mac or PC for emails?
