Why I cannot see my contact pics

I'm using Iphone 5c. When call anyone or received a call the contact picture is hiding behind the background. I can see only the shadow only from the phn display. Pls slove the problem. The picture is overlapped by the cl screen and i can guess the face only

Welcome to iMore! Try a hard reset. Hold the top power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release. Also make sure the photos are not too big. Use a 1:1 aspect ratio, or square.
