battery indicator not working after replacing battery in iPhone 5c
I changed the battery in my iPhone 5c (purchased Oct 2013 and out of warranty) because of loss of battery life (having to recharge after 2-3 hours). Now that the new battery is in, the battery level indicator does not work and I don't get a low battery notice. My phone will just shut off without warning and I have no idea what the battery level is at any given time. I have tried the reboot (on/off and home key hold downs) but it has not worked. The only thing that happened is that it changed the level indicator from showing full charge all the time to showing 14% charge all the time with no changes in levels. Is this something that can be fixed? It's very incovenient to not know where your battery level is or when it will just shut off.
