How can I get the Sharing Moment feature of WeChat working on the iPhone 6?

hi! My friend lives in US and she upgraded her phone to iphone6 plus which causes the mention in Sharing Moment of WeChat disappear. so she reinstalled WeChat and lost all her friends information. im chinese living in Shanghai, we communicate each other in WeChat, so i decide to help her. After trying update or reinstall method, this problem still exists. So how to solve this problem? thanks!

I can only "assume" that WeChat is isn't compatible with iOS 8.1.1 or your friend hasn't upgraded to the latest WeChat version, if applicable. The iPhone itself shouldn't have any effect on the app, in my opinion.
