Restore or set up as new phone?

I just upgraded from the iPhone 4S to the 6 plus. Not all of my info got transferred over (not all pics and no apps). Most of the pics are saved on my computer and I can just re-download needed apps. So, when plugging new phone into computer for first time, should I restore backup or just set up as new phone?

If you want all of your old info on your new phone, restore from backup but otherwise set up as new. Backup should include apps and pics.

Backup. That will bring all your apps and photos and saved info right over. It'll also remember all your settings so you don't have to enter anything again.
