Why does my iPad 2 seem out of focus and the screen is green?

After charging my iPad 2, it was 100% charged and had a bright green screen with the icons very out of focus. It still works, I can play Angry Birds, etc., but out of focus. Is this repairable?

It may be a loose connection between the motherboard and display, and that can be fixed if that's what it is...otherwise, it could be hardware failure that is unrepairable... a qualified Apple service facility can diagnose and advise further.
