Setting an aler on my calendar what does all day mean?

Does all day on my calendar alert mean it will sound all day at times?

If you have an "all day" appointment it will notify of that appointment prior to the beginning of that day. When that alert pops up is up to you. You set the time for it to come up.

It really depends upon you how you'll set themselves. If set them for whole day then it will ring all day long. If you set them once or twice a day then it'll ring for 2 times simple.

It means you have an appt set to last 'ALL DAY" as opposed to a 1 or 2 etc hour long appt. That is all it means so if you set it like me to notify you an hour before the event it will and then you dismiss the alert. If you notice the line will go from morning to end of day= ALL DAY!
