Does iOS 8.1.1 handle voicemail from blocked callers differently thatn ios 7?

In iOS 8.1.1, I no longer get the blocked calls folder in my voicemail like i did in iOS 7. Where does iOS 8.1.1 store the voicemail messages from blocked callers?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a "blocked calls folder in [the] voicemail". In my experience when you block a number, you not only don’t get a ringtone alert when the call comes in, but the caller is dumped without an opportunity to leave a message. AFAIK, it’s been that way since Apple introduced the ability to block calls and callers.
