Why is my phone trying to call 911 when it is linked to my Truck through Bluetooth?

I have i-phone 6 and Ford Truck 2014 and having phone calls issues with Truck.

I have down-loaded the latest updates, 8.1.1 but still having phone issues in truck. The phone threw Bluetooth is trying to call 911. It then, can't call and shows a big red *, sometimes it shows a message that says " Restart Vehicle Instructions". Ford has no idea what is going on and is telling me its, i-phone 6 or sprint.

Ford says I need to update to Apple i0S 8.1 or later, I have 8.1.1

Classic each one blames the other... chances are, one or both will release a software update, and all will work as expected... until then, keep an eye on Apple and any Ford support forum(s) you may follow for a workaround or fix.
