Why isn't my Tomtom staying connected to my phone?

Why am I having connection problems with my iPhone (iOS 8.1.1) & my TomTom 600 unit?

Hi! I have same problem with my Tomtom 600.Before i was using iPhone 3 gs (ios 6.1.8)and it was working fine.Now i bought iPhone 6 plus(ios 8.1.1) same problem i am facing now.I can pair the tomtom to the phone with no issues. The tomtom then momentarily connects to the phone then disconnects.

I'm *assuming* the problem is associated with the TomTom MyDrive app. If so, the latest update, according to the App Store, was released April 3, 2014. Since that date is prior to the release of iOS 8 and above, I *assume* it needs to be updated to work properly with iOS 8.1.1.
