Why am I unable to update to iOS 8?

Every time I try to download and install iOS 8 it errors out before it is completed

• Is your device compatible with iOS 8 or above?
• Do you have a speedy & stable internet connection if you're on Wi-Fi?
• Are you updating OTA (over the air) or via iTunes?
• If via iTunes, are you using the latest iTunes version?
• Is your device currently jailbroken?

I would suggest you restore your device as new thru iTunes instead of OTA and ensure your device is plugged in and you have a strong wifi connection

Don't forget to back up your device if you haven't already done so
