Using T-Mobile to make wifi calls while in India

I've a 5s and just updated to iOS8.1. I'm based in the US on T-Mobile Network. I'm currently visiting India. I did check the wifi button. But I don't see T-Mobile Wifi on my phone. Any suggestions?
