Why do some emails get through to my iPhone but not to my Macbook (where I use Outlook)?

why do some emails get through to my iPhone but not to my Macbook (where I use Outlook)

I have noticed some emails (not junk) I only receive on my iPhone - they never make it to my Macbook where i work through outlook.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Perhaps when receiving emails on the iphone, they are removed from the server. And after that outlook on your Macbook can not get them.
Check the settings of mail and e-mail server software.

So you have the same Outlook email account on both your phone's Mail app and on your computer, but some emails only show on the phone? Is it possible that some are coming in on the phones mail app to the inbox, but to Junk on the computer? Have you checked that? Or does it not come in at all on the computer?
