If you backed up that data via an iCloud backup, you will need an iOS device to restore that backup to. If you purchased the eBooks via iBooks, you will need a Mac or i-Device to re-download them to via the "purchased" section of the iBooks store. If those eBooks were downloaded via the internet, just go back to the site(s) and re-doownload them again.
