If you created a new iTunes account (as opposed to changing the email address associated with your iTunes account), you will always face that issue. You cannot transfer purchases from one iTunes account to another, you cannot "merge" iTunes accounts, etc. So the items that you purchased with your first account will always be associated with that account, unless you repurchase them with your new account. The old account credentials will also always be required for updating apps purchased with that account.
